CollisionSite System Requirements

Computer Requirements

  •  Monitor resolution of 1024x768 or greater(Recommended)
  •  Windows XP or better
  •  Always use the latest version of your browser
  •  Flash 8.0 or Better
  •  Javascript Turned ON
  •  Broadband Internet Connection (Recommended)
If the minimum requirements are not met, the CollisionSite® system will not function properly.

Complete the tests below to see if your computer is compliant with the ColisionSite® system.


Flash Test

If you cannot see one or either of the movies please follow these instructions. Otherwise skip to the Javascript test below.
  1. Click on the Tools menu at the top of your browser window.
  2. Go to Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Security Tab.
  4. Are your security settings on HIGH? If so, go to step 5 else go to step 9.
  5. On that same page click on the Trusted Sites Icon.
  6. Click on the Sites button on that page and window should popup that allows you to add sites to your trusted sites list.
  7. Add the following sites to your trusted sites list, http://www.collisionsite.com and http://www.collisionsite.net
  8. Refresh this page by clicking the refresh button in your browser window and see if the flash movie is visible. If not, continue with step 9.
  9. Download the Flash Registry Component Here
  10. Rename the file from flashenable.exe to flashenable.reg The program will not run properly unless you rename it to flashenable.reg
  11. Run the Flash Registry Component (Click past any security warnings and click yes you are sure you want to run the program).
  12. Download the Flash Install File Here
  13. Run the Flash Install Program (Follow the instructions given by the installer program).
  14. Refresh this page by clicking the refresh button in your browser window and see if the flash movie is visible. If not, here are some other common causes for Flash not working properly.
  15. Do you have any toolbar or other helper application that blocks Flash? Some toolbars that block pop-ups also have a Flash-blocker.
  16. You may need to completely close this window and open a new browser window.
  17. You may need to reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
  18. You may need to completely uninstall Flash ( Go to the Start button on the bottom left hand corner of your desktop, then go to Control Panel, then go to Add/Remove Programs(In XP) or Programs and Features(In Vista), find the flash program in the list and remove it. Then reinstall the program starting at step 9.
  19. You may need to go to Tools then Manage Add-ons then change menu to "Add-ons that have been used by IE" and make sure that "Shockwave ActiveX Control" and "Shockwave Flash Object" are set to "enabled".
